Journey Out of Homelessness is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness one individual and family at a time. We are consistently stiving to be a one-stop shop for the homeless in our community by providing emergency and transitional housing, financial literacy education, and vocational training and job seeking services through our staff and community partnerships to ensure housing stability when clients leave our program. Services include emergency shelter, counseling services, life skills, community education, vocational training, individual and policy advocacy, and assistance with reducing or eliminating barriers for permanent, stable housing for all people.
A PLACE TO STAY ON YOUR WAY
Our vision is a 3-step program. The first step is our triage center where individuals or a family go through our intake process. We find out what each person needs to on a path of homeownership. Next we place participants in a semi-permanent facility where they will live for six months to a year.
EMPLOYMENT & EDUCATION NETWORK
We want to encourage and develop a plan to help former homeless people join the workforce or get an education for a career. Our connections provide help at every step of employment journey.
